I had this virus software (the 2009 version) for about a year and it worked fine… until I updated to this one. A month later I saw that it had an “untreatable” virus. My computer proceeded to get progressively worse and a computer expert my mom knows said that the virus took over the antispyware. proving my point at how useless this one is. Now I have to get a new computer. Definitely won’t be buying Trend Micro again.

I use Internet Security products based on price. They are all pretty good, so the only way to distinguish between them is price and custoner service. Trend-Micri fits both bills quite well.

Trend Micro virus protection was very simple to understand and easy to install. The updates were quick. The scans of my PC and Laptop were thorough. It immediately found 52 threats that my previous virus protection hadn’t detected. Trend Micro Internet Security offers an easy to use menu screen and offers Quick Scan and Full System Scans. Updates happen automatically. You can also get updates manually. I think this is an excellent product and I highly recommend it.

We’ve used the Trend Micro Internet Security Suite for three years now, and I had the enterprise version in my former employment and I love it. I have never used a better Internet protection product. The Internet Security package includes virus and spyware protection, browser and email protections, as well as a firewall. We have had no virus issues, and only two trojans, which were caught and destroyed before they could do any damage.
The software can be password protected to keep others from changing any settings, and the administrator can control protection levels and options, and even disable any part of the software. You have the option of black-listing unwanted sites that the filtering has missed, or white-listing certain Web pages or entire Websites that you want allowed. You may also report sites to Trend that you feel have been blocked by Trend’s Internet controls by mistake. The suite can be installed on up to three computer systems on the one license so it’s great for our home network.
On top of all of that, purchasing the full software package through Amazon was much cheaper than “renewing” through Trend’s vendor, Digital River. The little bit you will spend on this software is cheap compared to the cost and frustration of a virus or security breach on your computer system.

I like Trend Micro. It does not mess up your computer when you install the program like some of the other bigger names products did when I installed.
