i have installed a kaspersky 2011 antivirus but when ever am trying to update it is gettig updated and after that when i open that it is showing a message that “your computer is at risk threats have been detected fix it now”and whenever i am trying to fix its not gettig corrected and the red colour is not turning to green and from today onwards it is in a silver colour please help me to make it proper

Kaspersky is crap! Don’t want to be rude just saying Use Avast or Avira free, or buy Eset or request your money back from Kaspersky!!!!!!!

Im not just wanting the antivirus, i want to get the best internet security for 2011. So which one is best? Thanks.
Oh gosh so much to choose from.

I have read articles online that say that ‘free software’ is not complete secure or works 100% but I also read that bitdefender internet security is the best for 2011. Any input?

KASPERSKY and QUICK HEAL both are good Internet security provider for your system.And i am also using Both in my different systems.So you can try with Kaspersky.

A software called InternetAntivirus 2011 installed itself suspiciously into my PC. Is it an infected software?

Question by : A software called InternetAntivirus 2011 installed itself suspiciously into my PC. Is it an infected software?
How suspiciously? Well, while using firefox an imitation of My Computer’s window (the one with the available disks and such) showed in the browser (I didn’t realize it wasn’t the real My Computer’s window because I was actually often switching to it because I was working with my PSP). The imitation window said that the local disks (C, D, E, F) were being scanned and then said that they have a number of “highly dangerous” viruses, then asked me to install a certain program so I immediately did because it looked so normal. Then only after installing the software I realized the window which did the scanning wasn’t a real My Computer’s window.
And that software is Internet Antivirus 2011.. I can’t find it in the programs list to uninstall it and the shortcut in my desktop’s source does not exist.

What should I do? Please help me if you know something.

Remove it..//what’s the big deal..
Once I found Google installed on my PC..I removed it.
